Triple Pox

It's that season again; virus attack. Fever, cold, flu, you name it. Maybe it's the weather condition. Hari-hari hujan. This reminded me of the outbreak that hit our family back in June. Under my roof, it was a case of chicken pox. Oh yes, not double, but triple chicken poxes. Dini caught it first, but thankfully she suffered only a few spots, and they lasted merely two days. But shortly after, it caught Ikhwan, and then later Irfan.

At the same time, my sister's two daughters caught the dengue fever. While she was looking after them in their shared ward at TMC, suddenly she became shivery and ill. And what do you know, she too was tested positive for dengue. Terkejut semua orang. The saddest part was, I could not be there for her even though I so badly wanted, because my own children were sick at home and have to be quarantined. I'm glad to say we went through that short hurdle with patience and grace. Somehow, even without our own mother's care, we managed, right sis?

"Innalillahi wa inna ilaihi raji'un", to ALlah we belong and to Him is our return. It also means, whatever we have is not really ours as it belongs to ALlah. Our health is no exception.

Nak hilangkan boring, we took them out for a drive in the car
Their miserable days at home
Brought them to the office on a weekend for some fresh air
