Better Late than Never

Raya dah habis dah pun, tapi aku baru nak terkedek-kedek letak gambar. Takpe, yang penting, belum lapuk.

Our Eid celebrations was nothing out of the ordinary, except that this year I had the chance to go to the mosque for Eid prayers, after missing the opportunity for several years. 

To me, that is what makes Eid so special. It's an indescribable feeling, because somehow you know and you can feel that sense of satisfaction and inner peace, being in the mosque that Eid morning, bertakbir, dengar khutbah... especially after one whole month of fasting. Plus, also knowing that plenty of food is waiting for you upon your return, hehe. And that you're then allowed to eat at ANYTIME during the day, as much as you want. (I sound like a woman so obsessed with food, don't I?) Teruk betul. 

Nevertheless, this year's Eid became more meaningful because our children have grown too, which means they don't cry a lot (particularly the twin boys), they like to move about independently so we need not carry them a lot, they're less fussy when it comes to food... therefore, less stress equals to? Happier parents. 

Wait. No, no... let me rephrase that. Grateful parents. Now that's more like it. :) Here are some snapshots during the last Hari Raya. Maaf Zahir Batin everyone.
