Happy new year to all my readers. I could clearly hear the booms and bangs at twelve last night, but didn't even bother to look. It's a new year, okay, but I think there's no reason to be all too festive about it. There's still so much to do, with so little time. Dunia pun dah nak kiamat, tanda-tanda terlalu banyak. Masalah sosial tak habis-habis, malah makin teruk; minum arak dah jadi perkara biasa, nyawa manusia pun takde harga. Kalau lah ditakdirkan Dajjal muncul esok lusa, pasti masih ramai yang akan gagal nak menempuh ujian besar tu.
Instead of all those undoubtedly-beautiful firework displays, we should all have prayed together instead, for another better year, prosperous economy for the country with quality people in it. "Ya Allah, jauhkan lah negara kami dari segala malapetaka, bala bencana, wabak penyakit berbahaya, serta peliharalah nikmat keamanan rakyat jelata dan sahsiah golongan anak-anak muda. Amin ya Rabbal alamin."
Time flies so fast, it gives me the creeps... This has been long overdue, but here are our Eidul Adha pictures, in and around Kota Bharu.
A belated congratulation wishes to cousin Asyraf and Mira too for tying the knot then. We pray for your every love and happiness; semoga kekal bukan sahaja di dunia tapi juga di syurga bersama. Eveything that's halal for both of you now also comes with greater responsibilities; enjoy the nikmat but don't forget what's more important in life - our main purpose that is to serve Allah SWT. May your life together along with your kids and future generations bring more meaning to your life and the whole world.
