The new Proton Inspira was finally launched today, 10 November 2010. I was forced (hehe) to tag along with my two colleagues who were very much interested to witness it first-hand at the Proton showroom in Mutiara Damansara.
My only comment is "not inspiring enough". But I must say the package offered for the 2.0 engine is quite appealing - leather seats, paddle shifts, skirting, PLUS if you make your booking before 15th November (that's only within 5 days after the official launch), you'll be given 2 years free service. I thought that sounded tempting, tapi kononnya that's to cover for any likely defects and hiccups for first few batches of new cars. Haha, sabar je lah.
Surprisingly, we were told that waiting list is up to 3 months for the 2.0 engine, and only 1 month for the 1.8. The tagline for this model, though i.e. "Smart guys get it". Wha...??? Hmmm, I know I don't get it.
