Insha ALlah

I've fallen in love with Maher Zain. Not personally, but his beautiful singing and his soulful songs. I have attached his famous track -"Insha Allah". Do listen. (Go buy his album too, you won't regret it!)

I can now relate to the massive craziness now, but still cannot understand the drool over him created by many Asian women (sadly). According to iluvislam.com, apparently during his concert here in Malaysia last October, most female audiences went berserk, probably screaming away when Maher appeared and sang on stage. To me that is totally embarrassing and plain stupid.

Admittedly, not only can he sing very well, but his looks are admirable too. Not to mention his physique. But hey, grow up la peeps! You're supposed to absorb the messages in his songs, not his face! Ini lagu-lagu memuji Allah, bukan memuji korang pun. Ini konsert nasyid, bukan konsert Amy Search. I bet kalau Raihan yang perform, takde la terjerit-jerit macam tu kot? But then again, Raihan members tak se-hensem Maher agaknya. Tak tau lah nak kata. Harap-harap budak-budak aje yang buat perangai tu, jangan kakak-kakak atau makcik-makcik sudah. Kalau tak, lagi memalukan. Na'uzubillahi min zalik. Nasib baik aku tak pergi konsert tu, kalau tidak mau aku jeling setajam-tajamnya kat mereka-mereka tu.

Anyway, whenever this particular song is played, my thoughts would almost immediately turn to my aunt (arwah umi's younger sister) who has recently been diagnosed positive of cancer :-(
